ANNUAL CONCERTS
We perform up to 4 concerts per year.
Since 2019, we have held our Finale Concert in November or December in the Old Museum Building Concert Hall. Since 2022, our ensembles have performed Sunday afternoon concerts at Brisbane City Hall and Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens as part of Brisbane City Council’s ‘Bands in Parks’ program, with the support of MetroBands.
In April 2024, we performed in a joint concert with the Queensland Medical Orchestra (QMO), an event with an audience of over 900 people. Musicians of the legal profession and medical profession combined to promote mental wellbeing, where proceeds of the concert was donated to the charity Letters of Hope.
CHAMBER GROUPS
We have a number of chamber groups available for hire, including our string quartet, wind quintet and flute ensemble.
Our chamber groups have performed at a number of events including the Legal Profession Breakfast in support of Women’s Legal Service Queensland, QLS Legal Profession Dinner & Awards, UQ Justice and the Law Society Gala, UQ Pro Bono Centre's 10th Anniversary event & Pride in Law's Annual Address. Informally, we also encourage our members to get involved in forming their own small ensembles.
Contact us at creative@thelegalforecast.com to find out more about hiring our ensembles.
